Wireless Security Camera - For Dick Tracy and Every Tom, Dick, and Harry

Have you seen the movie Dick Tracy? It was the 1990 blockbuster film staring Al Pacino and Madonna. It's based on Chester Gould's comic strip, which he wrote and drew from 1931 until 1977. The work featured Dick Tracy, the superhero of police detectives. He was smart. He could punch with an iron fist. Even more impressive, he had the fastest draw in the city. Dick Tracy had to face villains so ugly they could make onions cry. These bad guys and gals include B-B Eyes, who had the eyes of a frog; hairless Miss Egghead; The Blank, who literally had no face; and The Claw, whose hook replaced a missing hand. One of the comic strip's hallmarks was Dick Tracy's gadgets, which he used to help track down these evil villains. His most famous tool was his 2-Way Wrist Radio, which, beginning in 1946, allowed Dick Tracy and police force members to communicate easily. In 1964, the watch was improved to a 2-Way Wrist TV, and then to a 2-Way Wrist Computer in the year 1987. Today, a wireless security camera would certainly be included in Dick Tracy's arsenal of gizmos.

cameras and Calendars
Before the wireless security camera, there was the television camera. Philo Taylor Farnsworth invented one that transformed the captured image into an electric signal. The U.S. dollar sign was the image that he transmitted. Farnsworth received a patent for his "dissector tube" invention that transmitted the image. Later, the first professional camcorder was put on the market, in 1982. And then during the following year, the first domestic camcorder appeared in stores. The first video surveillance system was installed in 1942, about a decade after Dick Tracy first appeared, to observe the launching of V2-rockets. Today, security cameras have come a long way. They are now digital, rather than analog; and even a wireless security camera can be used!

Pulling the Plug
While a home security system would probably not include a V2-rocket, today the wireless security camera has become instrumental in keeping homes safe. When considering whether or not a wired or wireless security camera is ideal for you, think about the benefits of the wireless security camera.

* They are ideal for the do-it-yourself kind of person because as they are easy to set up and are more portable.
* They are easier to conceal.
* They sometimes have motion-activated sensors that e-mail you after a person has walked into view!
* They can be accessed by logging onto your computer from almost anywhere.
* They do not require a power connector so they can be placed almost anywhere.
* They can save you money because you will not have to spend much money on wires and other electrical pieces.

Working Outside of the Home
The wireless security camera also has several applications outside the home. These include crime registration, monitoring of traffic, observation of industrial processes at factories, and compliance with safety requirements. Today's wireless security cameras are so tiny they are very difficult or impossible for the naked eye to detect. This makes them ideal for places where the camera must be concealed.

Technology has come a long way since "Dick Tracy" was introduced into the world of comic books in 1931. In fact, the wireless security camera has become so effective that the fearless detective might even use one if he were still prowling the streets for bad guys today.

Why I Have A Positive Attitude Towards Sales And You Don't

If your attitude is about as positive as a one legged duck in a swamp full of alligators, read this. I'm going to give you seven keys to crush negativity and create a positive mindset.

The result will be that you will feel great and make more sales more often with less effort.

exercise DAILY & EAT WELL.I don't know about you but I have this theory that if you eat junk and never exercise you will become an overweight unmotivated, undisciplined slob.

Not only that but odds are your breathe will stink, you'll have B.O. have a hard time buying clothes that fit and most likely die 15 to twenty years before your time.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not advocating you turn into some vegetarian, yoga-addicted, eat raw food and howl at the moon exercise junkie.

Just that every day you get 30 minutes of make-your-heart-beat-faster exercise.

Why?

Endorphins!

Endorphins are the body's natural feel-good chemicals. Have stacks of them and you feel great. Deplete their supply and you feel bad. Endorphins are a strong analgesic, and make you feel great.

The release of endorphins can lower your blood pressure, a major indicator in heart disease, and have even been implicated in the fight against cancer.

Want to know how to make your endorphins grow like a demented popcorn machine on steroids?

Feed them!

HINT: Endorphins thrive on exercise.

It is that simple.

Want to sell more?

exercise.

2. FEED YOUR MIND!

It constantly amazes me that so many sales people are satisfied to come home, sit down in front of the one-eyed devillike some couch potato and fill their brains with some mind-numbing 'reality' TV show whilst they yell at their kids who actually are alive!

And then, have the audacity to look all surprised when they fail to hit their monthly sales targets.

Remember the old computer saying: "Garbage in - Garbage out?"

Well the same thing is true of your brain.

Stop and ask yourself... what have I been feeding your mind this last 30 days?

  • Attend seminars.
  • Read books.
  • Subscribe to ezines.
  • Join online forums.

3. HELP SOMEONE WORSE OFF THAN YOU.

Let me tell you a true story... Last December I was in Beijing, China. It was freezing cold and as I was walking back to my luxury hotel room one night, I saw a woman sat by the side of the road.

She had a flimsy blanket and she was repeatedly re-arranging it over and over again in a futile effort to keep the cold at bay.(It was snowing hard).

I looked closer and saw that under the blanket, something was moving. It was a little boy - about 2 years old.

I walked back to a restaurant and bought some food for her and her child.

When I gave her the food she started to cry. As I tried to feed her son I saw that he was too weak to eat. She looked into my eyes and said ten words that will stay in my memory forever; "My Son will be dead by the morning, won't he?"

The Lesson: You are most likely nowhere near as hard done by as you think. Go and find someone like this woman that you can help. Help regularly. It will make you 'count your blessings'.

4. WATCH YOUR TALK.

The good book tels us 'Life and death are in the power of the tongue!'

  • Talk positively.
  • Talk to yourself.
  • Look in the mirror and tell yourself that you are great at what you do.

Use your words to edify, strengthen , encourage and inspire not just yourself but all those around you.

Stop and think for a moment... Do YOU enjoy hanging out with bitter, negative, 'gloom and doom' people? Of course you don't!

Make a 'Conscious Decision' that for the next 30 days you will speak positively about and TO everyone that you meet.

Trust me you will see a direct connection between your positive speaking and your sales results!

5. FOCUS ON MARKETING! Want to know a jealously-guarded secret of most top salespeople? They have a laser-focus on marketing.

They don't just TALK about marketing - they consistently DO something about it. Talk is dirt cheap. Actions count in selling.

TRY THIS: Start using a Daily 'To Do' list and keep a record of every specific 'lead-generating activity' that you do on a daily basis.

If you are anything like the 'average' salesperson, you will be astonished at how little you do.

You will quickly identify lead-generating opportunities. I suggest that you prepare a comprehensive list of your lead-generating systems. Measure the ones that you are actually applying and note how much and how often you apply them.

6. TRACK AND MEASURE EVERYTHING.

I have written sales copy for over 500 different offline companies and scores of website owners.

It has never ceased to amaze me how many of them are flying blind.

Fact: If you can't measure it - you can't control it' and odds are that you will never improve it.

Here's another fact for you. Highly effective sales people don't leave stuff to chance. They are diligent.

I don't care what system you use to track and measure your results. But if you aren't tracking and measuring your results - identifying what doesn't work and dropping it, working hard on the stuff that does to constantly improve it - then please forgive my totally politically incorrect language... you are an idiot.

And you will always be a mediocre salesperson at best.

When you measure results, you will not have a positive attitude problem. Your attitude will go through the roof!

For instance, I have one website that invites people to subscribe to one of my Internet Newsletters, that has close to a 100% optin rate. (and no that is far from normal).

Can you imagine how good I feel each time I tie a promotion into THAT site? I have measured the results so I know what to expect.

NOTE: There is NOTHING quite a stupid in business as salespeople who don't keep track of what works.

Perhaps you have heard the old saying; "Half our marketing works - we just don't know which half!"

- - Garbage!
- - Hogwash!
- - Ignorant twaddle!

Start tracking and measuring your activities and you will know exactly what works and your positive attitude will explode as a result!

7. HAVE A LIFE PURPOSE. It has always struck me as strange that so many people live life with all it's great potential with little or no purpose.

What about you?

Do you have a life purpose?

Something bigger than you? Something that you want so badly that each time you think about it, puts a smile on your face, a song in your heart and a spring in your step?

If not... find one.

No one else can find it for you but trust me - virtually nothing can stop you when you have a purpose.

Why?

Because purpose gives birth to vision and vision is the 'rocket fuel' of positive attitude.

Finally, if you want to fill your mind with dozens of sales-generating ideas, then you need to read my Blog, www.SalesLeadSecrets.com every day. But be warned... it is addictive. Study it often and serious possible side effects like making more sales more often could be the result.

Chris Bloor invites you to put your attitude on steroids by visiting his positive attitude in selling Blog: http://SalesleadSecrets.com
